In addition to the option to perform a check-out or check-in via the tablet, you can also use the tablet to perform an inspection on a specific resource.
During this inspection, you can update the status of the resource without having to check out or check in. When you inspect a particular resource, you can:
- update the vehicle's mileage
- correct the fuel level
- change the location where the resource is located
- add any unrecorded damage to the resource, and this for both the exterior and the interior
When saving the inspection, the new information will be kept on the resource so that it is correct for the next use.
- the previous check-out / check-in did not proceed correctly and you wish to correct the information on the resource record for the next use
When you carry out this inspection on a checked-out resource, any damage recorded during this inspection will also be saved on the currently active contract the resource was linked to. This assigns them to the driver currently driving the resource. Consequently, this damage will also be specified on the check-in document at the time the resource is checked in again.
