Depending on the settings within ProPlanner, emails are sent from ProPlanner using your domain name (e.g. info@yourdomain.be). It may happen that your clients report that these emails end up in the unwanted mail.

ProPlanner sends emails through the SMTP service of Sendgrid.net. SPAM filters can detect that these emails are not sent from your own domain and mistakenly classify them as unwanted mail.

To solve this, the following DNS records (CNAME) need to be present in the DNS records of your domain name. This will ensure that the validation of outgoing emails is done correctly.

Check with your infrastructure or domain name administrator. Please keep us informed via support@proplanner.eu if these are added, so that we can perform the necessary validations.

Value of the CNAME records to be created:
CNAME from "[YOUR-CODE].[YOUR-DOMAIN-NAME].be" to "u6294180.wl181.sendgrid.net"
CNAME from "pp._domainkey.[YOUR-DOMAIN-NAME].be" to "pp.domainkey.u6294180.wl181.sendgrid.net"
CNAME from "pp2._domainkey.[YOUR-DOMAIN-NAME].be" to "pp2.domainkey.u6294180.wl181.sendgrid.net"

[YOUR-CODE] you need to ask through our support at support@prolanner.eu

All technical information can be found on the Sendgrid support page. https://docs.sendgrid.com/glossary/cname

In addition to the extra CNAME records, an SPF record must also be added to the domain name.

If there is no TXT (text) record yet, you can create a new record with the value: "v=spf1 include:sendgrid.net -all".

If there is already a TXT (text) record present (e.g. "v=spf1 include:proplanner.eu -all"),
you should change the existing record to: "v=spf1 include:proplanner.eu include:sendgrid.net -all"

To check if everything is set up correctly, you can do a test on the following website: https://mxtoolbox.com/deliverability

Create a client in ProPlanner with the email address "ping@tools.mxtoolbox.com" and send that client an email through ProPlanner by, for example, creating a contract and asking for a signature.
