If you have the necessary rights, you can access the existing rates from the management screen using the "Rates" button:
On the next screen you will see, you can define a new rate using the "Add" button:
The screen where you can define the details of the new rate to be added contains two different tiles:
A tile "General" where you can define the general information about the rate.
Through this tile, you can set the name of the rate (in different languages) (1) and the criteria that determine when the rate will be charged (2). Here, you can also indicate in which price range the rate falls (3) and which rate type should be used (4). Of course, you can also set the unit price of the rate here (5), where you can indicate whether this unit price should be determined based on the calculated daily cost of the resource (6). Using the slider at the top of the screen (7), you can indicate whether the specified prices are inclusive or exclusive of VAT.
A tile "Surcharges" where you can specify which surcharges must be charged when using this rate.
Each time you specify that a certain surcharge must be charged, additional fields will be displayed allowing you to define the specific characteristics for that surcharge. The surcharges that can be added are as follows:

| Extra kilometres | If more kilometres are driven than the number of included kilometres, a surcharge will be charged per extra kilometre. |

| AdBlue | If the resource uses AdBlue, an AdBlue surcharge will be charged per kilometre. |
|
| Environmental surcharge | An environmental contribution will be charged per resource in the contract. |
|
| Surcharge delivery other location | This surcharge will be charged if the resource is returned to a different location than the one it started from. |
|
| Other | Here you have the option to add a specific surcharge yourself. Here you can specify a unit or flat-rate price and a reason for the surcharge. This reason will also be shown on the invoice. |
